Wacky Katy Perry wants a tattoo of  Queen legend Freddie Mercury tattooed on her back according to press reports.

In an interview with Florence Welch Katy said “I nearly got a huge tattoo of Freddie Mercury’s face on my back a few years ago. It’s probably for the best that I didn’t get it done, but I still want to do it.”

Katy has mentioned before her admiration for the former Queen front man. In an interview with the Daily Star last year, Katy cited Mercury as one of her major influences and said she was  especially impressed with his individual style and his  ‘I don’t give a f**k attitude’.

Last year, Katy appeared dressed as Freddy during a concert in Charlotte, North Carolina to celebrate her 24th birthday.
