I Liked It…..
Katy’s style, where do you start? It’s original, it’s colourful, can be stylish, even elegant and sometimes quite bizarre!
Say what you like about Katy Perry, but don’t say she resorts to clichés or the easy option.
Exactly how much thought goes into creating Katy’s look is difficult to say but sometimes it just looks like she’s having a laugh. At other times however, she just gets it perfect.

At this year’s 51st Grammy Awards, Katy caused quite a sensation with this stunning statement evening gown from Lebanese designer, Basil Soda.
The look is pure red carpet Hollywood, accentuated with over-size jewels and classic vintage hair and make up.
This style was certainly a diversion from some of Katy’s more famous fashion statements.

Katy picked up the Best International Solo Artist Award and wowed the crowds with a completely different look, although none the less stunning.
Katy opted for a 1980′s ‘punk’ look with an embellished black ‘Hello Kitty’ corset accentuated with a shocking pink shoulder strap and detailing.
The shiny black leggings look so tight they could have been painted on. The high heel shoes compliment the look perfectly with an ankle high cage strap detail.
The corset was recently autioned on eBay to raise funds for the museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The winning bid was $955

A very boudoir look this time from Miss Perry at the VH1 Critics Choice Awards held this January in Santa Monica, California.
This sea foam coloured silk dress with lace insets, and complimented with a fur cape, was met with mixed reactions in the fashion press.
The look is complimented with a classic blingy cocktail ring, diamond ear studs and classic throwback hair style.

No Katy Perry fashion resume would be complete without at least on of her most outlandish ensembles and this is our favourite. The now infamous Cassie Kogler Panda dress seems to be one of those frocks that looks cuter each time you see it.
Or maybe it’s just us?
